Fiona & James’ Wedding Album

On this fine evening, I’m delighted to be sharing another new album design, this time, featuring Fiona & James’ wedding at Arta in Glasgow back in October last year.

For their album, the guys chose one of Graphistudio’s “Young Books“ with 54 pages and opted for the wood fibre finish on both the album cover and box, all topped off with some subtle raised varnish text and an inset picture inside the box lid…very nice :-).

A lot of work goes into the designing and preparation of an album prior to it being sent off for printing. All in, I can easily spend around a day and a half with the selection of the images, the initial design, making any changes the couple want and then finally, what I call my “signature” editing process on all the pictures contained within the album to make them look their absolute best for printing.

You can probably tell that I’m a big big fan of wedding albums and I absolutely love to see your wedding pictures displayed in this way :-). Of course, I’m biased, but I do believe that I’m partnered with the best album company in the world, Graphistudio from Italy, used by the majority of top professional wedding photographers worldwide. Check these out…there’s so many ways in which the album can be customised in terms of covers, back & spines, boxes, colours etc, that apparently there are about 4 million different combinations in total!

Graphistudio also have a policy of “vetting” photographers that they wish to be partnered with, so you can be assured that you’re getting an album that just isn’t available to a large majority…how unique is that!
