Wedding Photography at the Ghillie Dhu
Taryn & Ewan’s Wedding Album

So, a couple of week’s back, it was great to see Taryn & Ewan again as they stopped by the home office to pick up their wedding album. The guys were married last year with a legal ceremony on Seacliff Beach in East Lothian, followed up by the wedding day itself at the fabulous Ghillie Dhu in Edinburgh.

For their album, the guys chose one of Graphistudio’s “Original Wedding Books” with 56 pages and opted for the very eye-catching silver metal polish finish for the cover, complete with anthracite grey maple binding and a complimentary maple design box to keep it all in – I’ve tried my best but it’s hard in an image to get across how fabulous this cover looks :-).

A lot of work goes into the designing and preparation of an album prior to it being sent off for printing. All in, I can easily spend around a day and a half with the selection of the images, the initial design, making any changes the couple want and then finally, what I call my “signature” editing process on all the pictures contained within the album to make them look their absolute best for printing.

You can probably tell that I’m a big big fan of wedding albums and I absolutely love to see your wedding pictures displayed in this way :-). Of course, I’m biased, but I do believe that I’m partnered with the best album company in the world, Graphistudio from Italy, used by the majority of top professional wedding photographers worldwide. Check these out…there’s so many ways in which the album can be customised in terms of covers, back & spines, boxes, colours etc, that apparently there are about 4 million different combinations in total!

Graphistudio also have a policy of “vetting” photographers that they wish to be partnered with, so you can be assured that you’re getting an album that just isn’t available to a large majority…how unique is that!

Anyway, here’s a few images of the actual album, along with the proof design for all of the pages.

Please leave a comment…I love to know what you think

Family & friends (plus anyone else who might stop by), it would be fantastic if you could leave a comment at the bottom of the post (using either of the comment box options) as I love to hear what you think :-). Also, if you really like this album design, why not give me a “Like” on my Facebook page to keep in touch with what I’m up to – would be great to have you on board!

Want to book me?

I love shooting weddings but I do often get booked up around 18-24 months in advance, so if you’re keen to book with me, or just need more information, please do get in touch. My wedding collections start at £1200…or £900 with a few wee discounts :-).
