Wedding Photography at House For An Art Lover | Angela & Frank’s Wedding Album

Was great to catch up again with Angela and Frank a couple of weeks ago as they dropped by the home office/studio to pick up their wedding album. The big day itself took place at the fabulous House for an Art Lover in Glasgow back in May last year so it was great to relive that day through the album as the guys flicked through page by page :-).

For their album, the Angela & Frank chose one of Graphistudio’s “Original Wedding Books”  and opted for the popular “crystal glance” cover complete with grey interwoven binding. As a nice added touch, I suggested that we might like to use the very unique “Glasgow Strong” font typeset for the cover and first page…the very same font that is used by House for an Art Lover on the menus and place names.

A lot of work goes into the designing and preparation of an album prior to it being sent off for printing. All in, I can easily spend around a day and a half with the selection of the images, the initial design, making any changes the couple want and then finally, what I call my “signature” editing process on all the pictures contained within the album to make them look their absolute best for printing.

Wedding Photography at Glenskirlie Castle | Nicola & Mark’s Wedding Album

Hot on the heels of my last post, here’s another album design for you today guys. This one features Nicola & Mark’s big day at one of my local venues, Glenskirlie Castle, from September 2014. You see, the thing is, there’s absolutely no time limit on when you can get an album made up; Mark contacted me recently to let me know that they would like to start the process for an album, even though the wedding itself was almost two years ago. I always have a copy (well, two copies actually) of each and every wedding that I’ve ever shot, and that’s a lot of weddings now, so it’s a fairly straightforward process to get the ball rolling.

For their album, the guys chose one of Graphistudio’s “Original Wedding Books”  and opted for the popular “crystal glance” cover complete with grey interwoven binding and all coupled off in a matching sleeve for storage. Nicola & Mark also added in a couple of half sized parent albums that are exact copies of the main album with a hardback cover.

Wedding Photography at the Lodge on Loch Lomond | Ailsa & Craig’s Wedding Album

It’s been a few weeks now since I posted an album design on the old blog, so today I’m very pleased to be featuring one of the latest to leave the studio from Ailsa & Craig’s wedding day at the Lodge on Loch Lomond back in the summer of 2014.

For their album, the guys chose one of Graphistudio’s “Original Wedding Books”  and opted for the popular “crystal glance” cover complete with anthracite grey class leather binding and all coupled off in a matching sleeve for storage. Ailsa & Craig also added in a couple of half sized parent albums that are exact copies of the main album with a hardback cover.

Wedding Photography at Kincaid House | Lyndsey & Iain’s Wedding Album

The latest wedding album to head out the door was from a fabulous day that I spent last June with Lyndsey & Iain shooting their wedding at Kincaid House, which was to be my first, and remains to this day, visit there. Glorious weather all day long I recall and an absolute joy to be part of the day :-).

For their album, the guys chose one of Graphistudio’s “Original Wedding Books”  and opted for snow white leather cover bound in the popular beighe & white floral suede paint finish and all coupled off in a matching sleeve for storage. Lyndsey & Iain also added in a couple of half sized parent albums that are exact copies of the main album with a hardback cover.

Wedding Photography at Brig o’ Doon House Hotel |Claire & Alan’s Wedding Album

One of the latest albums to head off out of the studio was from a wedding I shot last September with Claire & Alan at the very wonderful Brig o’ Doon House Hotel, one of my favourite venues. Glorious weather enabled us to get a great mix of shots both before and after dinner, the latter under some fabulous early evening skies – brilliant day all round :-).

For their album, the guys chose one of Graphistudio’s “Original Wedding Books”  and opted for the ever popular “crystal glance” cover bound in dark brown leather and all coupled off in a dark brown and mocha complementing design box.
