Something a little different today for you guys as I recently did a commercial shoot with Will More. I photographed Will’s wedding to Karen last year and Will got in touch a little while back to see if we could get together for some head shots that Will was needing for a programme for an upcoming concert, as well as a few other things. Will is the Artisitic Director of Strathclyde Harmonia so naturally it seemed appropriate to incorporate the baton into many of the shots.
The shoot took place at my very small home office/studio – big enough for this type of shoot though, and it gave me a chance to try out my recently acquired “storm grey” coloured backdrop, which I thought would work well for this type of shoot. I guess there’s only so many ways to hold a baton and we must have got through all of them in the hour and a half or so that it took for the shoot, even deploying a “Harry Potter” style wand waving approach as well :-).
