At the start of each and every July, I always (well, nearly always) take a wee break off to warmer climes – I call it my mid wedding season break…and this year was no exception. But, a few days before I jetted off to sunny Kos, I was down at one of my favourite venues, the fabulous Brig o’Doon House Hotel, for Emma & Darren’s big day…and what a day!
I have this theory that the tone of the day can very much be determined by the vibe at the bridal prep and, yep, I was right LOL. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bride smile so much through the day as Emma did – I mean…just look the pictures guys! The whole day was just a total blast from start to finish…well, when I finished at least after the first few dances :-), although I’d be amazed if the “happy” vibe of the day didn’t continue right into the small hours!
And then, as a wee bonus, we had the singing waiters get everyone going after dinner…and I do mean “get everyone going”…just look at the shots below!

Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for a very small number of family group shots and also, a short bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly fabulous pictures :-).
