So, third and final wedding of the weekend and, after trekking through to both Glasgow and Stirling last couple of days, today I’m in Edinburgh for the wedding of Sarah & Robbie. Due to a couple of postponements down to the weather, we’d not long done the guys pre-wedding shoot and some of those images were my faves this year, so all looked good for today.
Being slap bang in the middle of town, I’d really wanted to capture some images of Sarah & Robbie in that environment and, thankfully, the rain held off just long enough for us to venture down to Queen Street Gardens for the group shots followed up by the bride & groom shots. But I really love the ones just walking back to the hotel – I think it’s the reactions of the passers-by that makes these work, so thanks guys for foregoing the ride back in the car and just walking instead.
That said, lest we not forget the grandeur that is the George Hotel…what a stunning venue for a wedding – looks absolutely beautiful when it’s all set up for the reception.
