It’s been a while since I posted up a new album design for you guys, so putting that right today and delighted to be featuring Susanne & Paul’s album from their wedding at Edinburgh Zoo last year.
For me, the wedding album is very much the culmination of everything that I do, and absolutely remains the best way to truly tell the story of the day.
For their album, as the guys had booked my top of the line “Ultimo” package, they received a stunning 70 page 40cm x 30cm “Original Wedding Book” from my lab, Graphistudio. With the wedding being at the zoo, the guys had a wee bit of a penguin theme going on and had asked if it was possible to incorporate this into the album design at all. Of course, with this being a Graphistudio album, there’s not a lot that isn’t possible so I sourced a few penguin vectors from a stock library and incorporated them into the design for both the album cover and box.
For the album itself, we kept this very minimal, with the guys names and wedding date, along with the penguins, raised and varnished on to a satin silver metallic cover, complete with blue cloud leather for the binding … gorgeous. The blue leather was also used for the box itself to keep everything nice and consistent, with just the penguin design on the cover, raised and varnished :-).
I do believe that I’m partnered with the best album company in the world, Graphistudio from Italy, used by the majority of top professional wedding photographers worldwide. Check these out…there’s so many ways in which the album can be customised in terms of covers, back & spines, boxes, colours etc, that apparently there are about 4 million different combinations in total! You can therefore be assured that your album will be truly unique and personalised to your taste:-).

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
