Hi people, back again with another fabuous wedding to share with you on this fine day … yep, another sunny one! I can’t remember too many summer wedding seasons where we’ve had such glorious weather – think I can count on one finger the amount of rain affected weddings that I’ve shot since we got back to work a few months ago, and long may it continue.
For once, I’m going to kick off with a few kind words that the guys recently sent to me to sum up their experience on the day …
‘When Graeme proposed and the wedding planning began, Mike was our very first booking. We fell in love with Mike’s documentary style and knew we just had to have him capture our day. Graeme and I were both a little apprehensive about having to ‘pose’ for the perfect shot but we need not have worried. Mike put us at ease throughout the day and captured the most beautiful photos that we will always cherish. We were so impressed to receive 30 beautiful preview photos the following day! Many friends and family have commented on Mike’s amazing eye for that ‘unexpected moment’ and the natural authenticity that his photos portray.’
Thank you guys, you’re too kind :-). Beth & Graeme’s big day was actually my second wedding in a row at the fabulous Gleddoch House Hotel and, of course, we have COVID to thank for that LOL, with many dates having been moved from last year and wedding day plans altered to adhere with the restrictions – let’s hope that’s all behind us now though!
So what can I say of the day from my perspective – in simple terms (as I’m not one for too many words), a truly amazing day with a fabulous crowd of people :-). I’ll let the pictures do the rest …

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for a very small number of family group shots and also, a short bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly fabulous pictures :-). I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2022, 2023 and even 2024 … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
Full day coverage collections start at £2000 … but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
