Loch Lomond Wedding Photography:
Kareen & Kenneth at The Cruin

If my memory serves me correctly, and trust me, my memory’s not too bad (especially when it comes to remembering things like the Christmas No.1 in 1979 and various Spurs line-ups of the 1980’s), then exactly one year ago to the day I was sitting at The Cruin with Kareen and Kenneth discussing their wedding day photography and it was totally bucketing down with rain. I remember joking at the time about how bad it would be if the weather one year on was exactly the same. Oh well…

Yes folks, The Cruin, with all its beautiful surroundings being on the banks of Loch Lomond, is definitely a venue where you want to get out and about for your photography, blessed as it is with its own jetty where no photographer would pass up on the chance to get a shot or two. But, needs must, and pouring rain means that we need to do quite a few things indoors and be a bit creative. Having said that, the rain did ease off for all of 15 mins (or at least that’s what it felt like anyway, might have been less), so we seized the window of opportunity and headed for the jetty. Hats off to Kareen especially for negotiating the tricky wet slippy conditions in high heels to venture to the far end (although I know for a fact that she is pleased that she did, as we got some great shots in the misty surroundings).

Guys, many thanks for choosing me to photograph your wedding day. Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring the weather with me but it looked like a great time was had by all nevertheless. Hope you like these few images I’ve pulled off for the blog post. The full set can be found in your online gallery (password required).
