More blogness again for you guys and, this time around, I’m delighted to be featuring the fabulous wedding I shot at the end of June with Alana & Ian at the amazing surroundings of the Lodge on Loch Lomond.
I think I’m about right in saying that I’ve probably shot more weddings at Lodge on the Loch than any other venue … and it never disappoints, whatever the weather … this day … a mixed bag, sunshine, showers … typical Loch Lomond really!
I’m not great with words (which let’s face it is a bit rubbish if you’re trying to write a blog post!!!) so, as usual, I’m very honoured that the guys took some time out to put a few words together for me … take it away …
“We initially booked Mike in 2018, not long after getting engaged because we fell in love with his style of photography and the story it tells. I knew from the minute I saw his work, he would have to be our photographer. On the day of the wedding, Mike came along and worked his magic, from the bridal prep to the first few dances. He described himself once as a ” photo ninja” and I would have to agree with this, most of the time we forgot he was there, working behind the scenes and capturing magical moments. The day ran like clockwork, as we knew it would, as Mike is excellent at communicating with you throughout the process. He made sure that he was organised well in advance, so he knew which shots we wanted and what time we were getting ready, etc. As for his photos, they speak for themselves! He captured our day so beautifully and magically and we couldn’t have asked for anymore. We are over the moon with our photos and will treasure them forever!”

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for a very small number of family group shots and also, a short bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly fabulous pictures :-). I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2022, 2023 and even 2024 … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
Full day coverage collections start at £1800 … but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
