New week, new wedding on the blog guys. And this week, I’m delighted to be posting another wedding from November last year when I was back again at the ever fabulous Lodge on the Loch in Loch Lomond for Victoria & David’s big day, with the ceremony taking place first up at St. Mary’s Parish Church in Motherwell.
I’ve probably said this before, but I totally love shooting at Loch Lomond! Personally, I’ve never thought it mattered too much about the weather there either … there’s something quite mysterious about a “murky” day at Loch Lomond, allowing me to make the best use of some off-camera flash :-). Sunshine (when you get it LOL), isn’t too bad either though!
The guys received their album recently, and were very kind enough to send me fabulously nice words about the day, that probably sum things up better than I can …
Mike has provided an exceptionally professional service providing our wedding photography and in producing our stunning wedding album.
When we initially began looking for a wedding photographer, we were looking for someone with experience shooting at our venue and who would capture all the genuine, candid moments of our day. As soon as we saw Mike’s work, we knew his photography style would be perfect for us.
Mike kept in regular contact with us from our initial emails and helped us select the package most suitable for our wedding. On the wedding day, Mike was friendly and unobtrusive, quickly blending in and capturing some wonderful candid moments throughout our day.
We received excellent after service, with Mike providing some preview images a few days after our wedding, which we really appreciated and we received our digital images on schedule. Our wedding album design provided us with multiple customisation options, which allowed us to personalise every aspect of our album. Mike worked closely with us to design the layout of our album and nothing was too much trouble during our communication and design changes.
We are so delighted with every aspect of Mike’s service, and have enjoyed numerous compliments on our wedding photos from family and friends. We wholeheartedly recommend Mike for your wedding day photography!

Thanks guys! You probably know by now that my shooting style on the day is very documentary, very observational, capturing real stuff not “fake”. Anyway, no more waffle … as usual, I’ll let the pictures tell the story.

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
Despite the current lockdown guys, I am very much still working so, if you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for a very small number of family group shots and also, a short bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly fabulous pictures :-). I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2021, 2022 & even 2023!…but I do have a very limited number of “off peak” 2020 dates still available too (though not many Saturdays!)
