“The Parsonage” Wedding : Emma & Gordon

So guys, only 4 days after my last wedding at The Parsonage, I was back there again for the first of yet another “triple header” wedding weekend for the second week running … yep, it sure was a busy period. This time around, I was very honoured to be shooting Emma & Gordon’s wedding on a goregously warm August day :-).

The Parsonage is, in my opinion anyway (and I guess that of the many couples that book there LOL), a fabulous venue and, being very close to where I live, I get to shoot there quite a bit :-). But, despite that, this very day was to be the first where I got to shoot an outdoor ceremony – attempts at previous weddings had been thwarted by the weather! You’ve got to love an outdoor ceremony with all that freedom to move around and shoot from many different spots and angles – very often, indoors, I’m wedged into a corner with not enough room to even swing a cat LOL.

And, as if The Parsonage itself wasn’t enough, we also made time for the short trip over to the Pineapple for a quick “couple shoot”. What a bonus too to be let inside the building to get a few extra shots both inside and with the deckchairs in the garden.

What a fabulous day and all capped off with the brilliant Ernest playing out the night :-).

Anyway, enough waffle then, on with the pictures …

Emma & Gordon, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your amazing day! Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like.

Looking for “Reportage” Wedding Photography?

If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!

My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short bride & groom shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!

I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2022, 2023 and even 2024 … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.

Full day coverage collections start at £1800 … but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).

Oh, and please do feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page, as I do really love to know what you think :-).

Mike :-).
