“The Parsonage” Wedding : Stephanie & Max

Greetings people and welcome to the blog once again, continuing my adventures in wedding photography since, let me think … 2010 … yep, that long ago!

Ok, so I know I’ve said this a few times before but, these days, I no longer shoot three weddings in a row. Come to think of it, I actually no longer shoot even two in a row. A Friday and a Sunday … well, maybe, as that day in between does make a difference. Honestly, when I started out, I had no idea just how physically demanding wedding photography could be – out of the house for over 12 hours (sometimes longer), most of which is spent on your feet carrying heavy cameras and equipment, and needing to be “on the ball” pretty much all day long to make sure you don’t “miss the shot”.

So, with the pandemic and all that, tons of rescheduled dates meant that 2021 was definitely not going to be the year that I was able to start cutting back, so to speak LOL. How glad am I then, that when I get to the third wedding of a “triple header” weekend, that I get to shoot a wedding like the day I spent with Stephanie & Max at one of my local venues, The Parsonage at Dunmore Park :-).

It’s not always easy to recall the actual emotions of a wedding day, especially as I’m blogging this nearly six months after the event back in August last year but, hey, isn’t that what the pictures are for :-). However, this was one wedding that I definitely did remember – fabulous day and a fabulous crowd of people – just the tonic at the end of a busy trio of weddings!

So, enough waffle then, on with the pictures …

Stephanie & Max, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous day! Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like.

Looking for “Reportage” Wedding Photography?

If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!

My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short bride & groom shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!

I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2022, 2023 and even 2024 … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.

Full day coverage collections start at £1800 … but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).

Oh, and please do feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page, as I do really love to know what you think :-).

Mike :-).
