Lockdown week 10 … honestly, when I started blogging weddings at the start of lockdown, I honetly never thought I’d be saying “week 10”!!! But hey guys, it is what it is and hopefully there’s some light at the end of the tunnel and who knows, I may yet get to shoot some new weddings this year … if not, I’ll be shooting about 100 next year at the going rate!
Anyway, all that aside, today I’m very delighted indeed to be bringing you fabulous people another wedding from the tail end of last year, November to be exact, when I was back at the venue where I’ve probably shot more weddings than anywhere else down the years (and it is a lot of years these days :-)), The Vu in Bathgate, for Rachael & Matt’s fabulous day … and what a day … and glorious weather to boot!
You probably know by now that my shooting style on the day is very documentary, very observational, capturing real stuff not “fake” – in fact, I’m at my happiest when everyone actually forgets I’m there!!! But that’s a good thing :-). Anyway, no more waffle … as usual, I’ll let the pictures tell the story.

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
Despite the current lockdown guys, I am very much still working so, if you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for a very small number of family group shots and also, a short bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly fabulous pictures :-). I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2021, 2022 & even 2023!…but I do have a very limited number of “off peak” 2020 dates still available too (though not many Saturdays!)
