Ok you fabulous people, last blog post of the year! I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to squeeze in one more before I wrapped up for Xmas but I’ve been very keen to share the amazing day I spent with Maxine & Gordy since the day I shot the wedding back at the end of July, so here goes.
If recollection serves me well (and it doesn’t always LOL), this was pretty much the first wedding that I shot without any COVID enforced restrictions, so actual “dancing” was permitted come the evening … much welcomed as this is always one of my fabourite parts of the day photography speaking :-).
The guys’ big day took place at the wonderful Waterside Hotel over on the Ayrshire coast so naturally it would have been very remiss not to take a wander down on to the beach at some point, which we duly did after dinner. I love the sea so give me a beach to play with and I’m in my element!
Anyway, enough waffle, on with the pictures …

Looking for “Reportage” Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short bride & groom shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2022, 2023 and even 2024 … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
Full day coverage collections start at £1800 … but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).

Mike was absolutely fabulous on our wedding day! He was super relaxed and easy to get along with and didn’t feel uncomfortable in front of him whatsoever! He arrived nice and early which I love and stayed to capture some of first dances. All the other vendors that were there found him really easy to get along with too and said he was a great guy!
When we received our photos very soon, must I add, after the wedding we were blown away with how perfectly Mike had captured our day. Full of love and laughter!
For anyone looking for a photographer that will find moments in still time that you will treasure forever look no further. We loved Mike’s natural style, it’s exactly what we were looking for, and it’s exactly what we got!
