In all the years that I’ve been shooting weddings, I’d never had the opportunity to shoot at Eskmills Venue in Musselburgh and then what happens, yep, you’ve guessed it, a wee bit like buses, I get to shoot there three times in the space of just a few weeks…go figure :-).
Lauren & Brian’s big day was the second of those three weddings so I was well versed with the venue and the surroundings by that point…which always helps I think :-). In addition though, we did also manage to squeeze in a very brief trip down to Musselburgh Harbour for a few shots but, as you can probably tell from the shots below…it was a bit drizzly and a touch breezy (slight understatement)!
Most of you guys know that I shoot most of the wedding day in a very documentary observational style, in the background but always looking for those “moments” and there were certainly plenty of those this very day :-). But, I do always make time for a short bride & groom shoot so, to top things off, we even managed a shoot after dark – very often, one of my favourite parts of the day once all the formalities are done and dusted…yes, I am very much a creature of the night!
Lauren & Brian, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous day. Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop.
Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2020 & 2021…but I do have a very limited number of 2019 dates still available.

And, if you’re reading this before the 31st March, you can also save a further 20% off all my collections – full details here.
