Wedding Photography at Glenbervie HouseJulie & Gary

So, here’s the thing guys, I am absolutely determined to blog each and every wedding from last year and yes, the year always starts off with good intentions and then, what happens, well, weddings happen, and the blogging starts to be pushed to the side a wee bit…so as we’re still in the “fairly” quiet period before this year’s weddings kick in, I’m going all out to blog as much as I can just now.

So back in September, and the second wedding of yet another “double header”, I took the short hop to my local venue, Glenbervie House, for Julie & Gary’s big day. Now I’ve always been fortunate with the weather at Glenbervie and, even with the number of weddings I’ve shot there (which is quite a few), I can’t ever recall being forced indoors due to the rain. Well, I guess all things come to an end at some point and, on this very day, down it came in buckets.

Of course, there’s always a plan B so indoors we stayed and made use of the stone walls for the family group shots and then the fabulous staircase & stained glass window area for a few bride & groom shots, albeit we did eventually manage to get outside for a few quick shots later in the day once the rain had eased a touch. Personally, it didn’t look as though the bad weather mattered too much and certainly didn’t dampen the spirits as you can see from the pictures below…:-).

Julie & Gary, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous day. Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop (click on any thumbnail to view L A R G E!).

Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?

I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). To know more about my wedding day  approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.

Full day coverage collections start at £1300.

Mike :-).
