Wedding Photography at Glenbervie HouseSharon & Steven

Second wedding blogged this week and, strangely (or maybe not, depending on your point of view), it’s yet another wedding up at my local venue, Glenbervie House. I think, in fact I know, that in all the years I’ve been shooting weddings, and it is a few now :-), that I’ve never shot two consecutive weddings at the same venue, until this time, although there was a few days in between the two.

But, here’s the thing, over the course of the next year, on two separate occasions, I’m going to be at the same venue for two separate weddings…two days running – may as well just take a sleeping bag and camp over!

So, what of Sharon & Steven’s big day? Well, let me just say that I hold a view that the bridal prep often sets the tone for the rest of the day…ahem! Probably the loudest, funniest and certainly one of the best bridal prep sessions that I’ve ever shot…I’ll leave it at that – thank you girls for the very entertaining morning :-).

Weather wise…spot on…nice & clear & dry, allowing us to squeeze in a couple of bride & groom shoots, one before dinner and one in the fading light afterwards.

What a day! Fabulous crowd, lots of laughs, and, let’s not forget the nice little surprise of the singing waiters at the end of dinner…certainly got the party started…if it wasn’t already…

Sharon & Steven, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your aamzing day. Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop (click on any thumbnail to view L A R G E!).

Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?

I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). To know more about my wedding day  approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.

Full day coverage collections start at £1300.

Mike :-).
