I’ve never yet missed a wedding through illness, but I’ve got to say that Laura & Scott’s wedding last weekend was probably the closest that I’ve ever come to that happening. Only the night before (the small hours of the morning to be more exact), I was, well let’s just say, in quite a sorry state with some kind of stomach bug, so much so that I was only able to get out of bed about an hour before being due to leave for the wedding. So, wasn’t I grateful therefore on two counts; firstly, that the wedding was up at my local venue, Glenbervie House (no more than 5 mins away) and secondly, that I had such a fantastic couple like Laura & Scott to shoot :-).
I’d shot Laura’s sister Leanne’s wedding to Darren a few years back, and the guys booked me on the strength of that, and it’s always great to see a few familiar faces on a wedding day. And, wouldn’t you know it, we were totally blessed with some gorgeous weather for the day…and I haven’t been able to say that too often this year so far but hey, you know, summer is just around the corner :-).

Amazing photos of our lovely granddaughter Laura and Scott her new husband. You captured the day superbly from the behind the scenes photos through the ceremony to the meal and the dancing afterwords. It’s going to be very difficult to chose any one photo to put on our wall as they’re all lovely. Thank you so much, especially as you weren’t too well on the day!
