So guys, another double header of weddings this weekend just gone…my second “double” of the year so far already and, by chance, back at Norton House again for the second time this month, but won’t be the last, as I’ll be there again in July as well! This time though, I was shooting the fantastic wedding of Charlotte & Jordan, and, thank the lord, for a change the weather played ball…bit breezy but nice and dry which is as much as we can ask for I guess at this time of year.
The guys had a few ideas for some shots which I was more than happy to oblige with and this included probably my favourite (and last) shot of the day which was the guys smoking cigars. I’d seen this shot done before by one of my favourite photographers, Jerry Ghionis, and he’d lit the shot from behind, highlighting all the smoke for a really cool effect..so, of course, I had to give it a go myself :-). I’m sure my shot is not as good as Jerry’s, but I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out.
Charlotte & Jordan, thank you for choosing me to shoot your wedding day. Here’s just a few of my early favourites which I hope you like – just click on any thumbnail to start the viewer.
Please leave a comment…
Family & friends (plus anyone else who might stop by), it would be fantastic if you could leave a comment at the bottom of the post as I love to hear what you think :-), and, you can help Charlotte & Jordan win my monthly competition to win an 18″ x 12″ framed print of their choice. Also, if you really like these pictures, why not give me a “Like” on my Facebook page to keep in touch with what I’m up to – would be great to have you on board!

Thankyou so much Mike! Beautiful shots and so natural looking especially since we’re definitely not posers! Amazing day captured by an amazing photographer!
Thanks Charlotte. Really pleased you like these early previews. Will have the rest ready for you asap. Mike.
