So guys, about a month ago, I had that kind of rare thing…a weekend with just one wedding to shoot – don’t get too many of those these days. In fact, in a very short time, I’ll be doing four weddings in a row…but hey, that’s just the way things pan out sometimes. Come November, I’ll be doing very little I guess.
Michelle & Stewart’s wedding took me to a new venue, Pollokshields Burgh Hall; not new in the sense that it’s just been built, but new in that I’d never shot there before, pretty rare these days now that I’ve been going for around eight years! But, every now and then, one comes along and, by the time we get there, via the ceremony at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, wouldn’t you know it but the heavens have opened and it’s tipping it down. Had just made the decision to shoot all the group shots indoors and, as soon as it had started, it stopped, so off we went outside…fingers crossed…and we got lucky :-).
