Oh man, The Cruin… I just love it there…one of my favourite venues. So guess how delighted I was to be shooting there again in the last days of last summer…yep, you could feel that wee chill in the air as the sun went down with autumn just around the corner. Set on the banks of Loch Lomond, it’s a truly spectacular setting for a wedding day and what glorious weather we were blessed with too…although even in the rain and murk I still think it looks great…very atmospheric and mysterious, if that’s the right word to use!
I’d not actually met Sonia & David until the day itself but that’s never been a problem before, and certainly wasn’t this time around either, as I quickly settled in to things with the bridal prep shots and, as everyone was getting ready in the grounds of The Cruin, a few quick shots with the guys as well…always a bonus :-).
No wedding at The Cruin, is complete without some shots on the (very long) jetty – get’s more bouncy the further out you go :-). But boy…that backdrop…plus blue skies and clouds…just perfect conditions. And let’s not forget the glorious early evening skies as well as we ventured out after dinner for a few final shots before the evening party kicked off.
Sonia & David, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous day. Here’s a few of my favourite shots which I hope you all like…PS – best viewed on a desktop (click on any thumbnail to view L A R G E!).
Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom, as I love to know what you think…cheers all!

Looking for some “Ninja Style” Wedding Photography?
I love shooting weddings and, for the most part, I adopt a “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me…it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot! But, I will always make time for those important family group shots and also, a relaxed bride & groom shoot and here, it’s my aim to provide you with some truly amazing pictures…not just your standard stuff :-). To know more about my wedding day approach to how I shoot weddings, just click here.
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2020 & 2021…but I do have a very limited number of 2019 dates still available.
Full day coverage collections start at £1500…but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
