I’ve probably shot weddings at The Vu more than anywhere else, I reckon and you know when you get that “nod of acknowledgement” from the staff when you arrive on scene, you’ve been there just a few times before :-). But being familiar with a venue doesn’t at all mean that the wedding pictures are always going to be the same…not a chance – conditions are always different, might be rain, might be sun, might be cold, might be warm. For Suzanne & Michael’s wedding day, I’d probably say it fell into the sunny but chilly category and all capped off with an absolutely gorgeous sunset.
Of course, one the must have shots at The Vu is down on the jetty and only once have I not been able to get that shot due to the conditions – thankfully, that wasn’t this time around and we were blessed with some dramatic cloudy skies for the backdrop. :-).
