So guys, second half of last year, my blogging fell badly by the wayside – not that I wasn’t busy! Far from it – 56 weddings in one year constituted my busiest year yet. And that, I’m afraid, was the main reason for falling behind with the old blog – just too too busy to blog!
So, this year, I’m absolutely determined to put that right and, in a change of tact, I’ll now be blogging a few images (albeit slightly less than before) from each wedding and pre-wedding shoot, just a few days after the event takes place. And I’m kicking off with Lauren and Alan’s wedding that I shot only three days ago at the Bothwell Bridge Hotel.
As well as the hotel itself, the guys had booked the fabulous Chatelherault Country Park for their key bride & groom shots. We’d had a dusting of snow a few days before and there was still enough of the stuff kicking around to provide a very wintry feel to the pictures, which I love :-).
So, here we go with wedding no.1 of the year – here’s some of my early favourites from the day. Lauren & Alan – a big thank you for booking me and I hope you like these previews.
