Wedding Photography at Glenbervie House:
Lynsey & Derek

Lynsey & Derek’s wedding at Glenbervie House marked the start of a run of three weddings in three days for me. I’ve always said that I would never shoot more than three on the spin but, hey, come next month, there’s the possibility that I may be doing four – better get in training then:-).

Glenbervie is my local venue – the only one where, should the car break down en route, I wouldn’t be panicking…well, not much anyway! And, until today, I’d never had any sort of accident or mild moment of embarrassment shooting a wedding…until today! Shooting the key bride & groom shots and walking backwards on the driveway at Glenbervie, as you do, it slipped my mind that the drive was lined by large white flagstones – and, you guessed it, over I went, tumbling backwards down the grass, cameras and flashes flying everywhere, one even hitting me firmly below the eye. The result…a semi black eye for a week, a £50 repair job to one of the flashes and an acute case of embarrassment – some days, you are just glad couples have not chosen a videographer :-).

Lynsey & Derek – a big thank you for asking me to photograph your fabulous wedding day and I hope you like these selected images that I’ve picked out which are some of my favourites.

Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the post as I love to hear what you think :-). Even better, if you really like these, why not give me a “Like” on my Facebook page to keep in touch with what I’m up to – would be great to have you on board!

Mike
