You know, I’m quite getting in to this blogging images straight after the wedding thing – much better than last year when I blogged about 6 months afterwards!!! And, the great thing is, everything is still fresh in the mind, so far far easier to put down into words – let’s hope I can keep it going when I start to get 2 or 3 weddings a week :-).
So, a couple of days ago, I was back at the fantastic House for an Art Lover for the wedding of Hannah & Robert. And here’s the thing…never trust the weather forecast – for days, it had been forecasting clear blue skies, even on the morning itself. And, what do we get…showers all day long :-(. Still, at least there’s plenty of good spots indoors at House for an Art Lover, although we did get outside on and off.
All round, a fantastic day and all topped off (for me anyway) with some memorable first few dances – I can honestly say that’s the first time I’ve ever heard Frank Zappa (I think it was anyway) played at a wedding and then, of course, there was flower girl Erin’s magical solo dance to “Let It Go” :-). Loved the New York theme to the day as well!
Hannah & Robert, a big thank you for asking me to shoot your wedding. Here’s a few of my favourite images which I hope you like.
