Wedding Photography at Mar Hall:
Kirsteen & James

Continuing my quest today to get back on track with blogging and taking you back to the end of June when I was very honoured to be shooting Kirsteen & James’s wedding day at the fabulous Mar Hall, the second of three weddings that I will have shot there this year.

A real old mixed bag weather wise from what I recall – early morning sunshine that gave way to afternoon rain, then a bit more sunshine all rounded off with some “moody” early evening skies – great for the late bride & groom shots though :-). And, we had some added excitement early on as there was a hint that Robbie Williams no less might be at the hotel!!! He’d been playing in Glasgow the night before and there was certainly a tour bus parked outside where the girls were getting ready but, alas, despite some early optimism (from me as well at the prospect of getting a shot or two of Mr. Williams), nothing transpired, apart from a few band members (we think) getting on the bus – to coin a phrase, Robbie, it seems, had already “left the building”.

Kirsteen & James – a big big thank you for asking me to photograph your wedding day – here’s just a few of my own personal favourite images from the day which I hope you like.

Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the post as I love to hear what you think :-). Even better, if you really like these, why not give me a “Like” on my Facebook page to keep in touch with what I’m up to – would be great to have you on board!

PS – don’t forget to check out the guys’ Loch Lomond pre-wedding shoot as well if you haven’t seen it already.

Mike
