Wedding Photography at Cameron House | Zara & Craig

Sitting here today in the wind and rain, it’s hard to forget that not so long ago we were enjoying some gorgeous sunny weather which was a total joy in which to shoot weddings. Zara & Craig’s big day was just that and also my last wedding before my two week holiday in Majorca – yep, right in the middle of peak wedding season, but with boys of school age in the house, it’s the only time that I can realistically get away without incurring the wrath of the local authorities!

I’d been to Cameron House a few times already this year, for a wedding and a couple of pre-wedding shoots…indeed, Zara & Craig chose to have their shoot here a few months ago, so fair to say I was pretty familiar with the surroundings, which always helps a wee bit come the wedding day. The fabulous weather meant we had an outdoor ceremony…always great to shoot as there’s just so much room to move around – many’s a time I’ve been wedged into a small corner during a ceremony with little room to breathe let alone move!

Pre-Wedding Shoot at Cameron House | Zara & Craig

So, just as wedding season is now truly up and running, so I find myself doing almost as many pre-wedding shoots and, a few weeks ago, I was out and about in the beautiful setting of Loch Lomond, Cameron House to be exact, for Zara & Craig’s pre-wedding shoot. The guys are getting married in this very place in a couple of months so it was great to try out a few things ahead of their big day.
