Continuing today with more weddings from the end of last year and today I’m very pleased to be featuring Jenna & Matt’s big day at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, a venue where I’ve shot a few times now and a beautiful place it is too :-).
In fact, one of my very first weddings in 2016 was in this very same place and totally baltic it was too back in January…dusting of snow and ice on the ground and everything. Fast forward a few months and the snow and ice had been replaced by rain, scuppering any chance of having an outside ceremony on the day.
Despite the drizzle, we did manage to get out and about for a bit and make use of the grounds including a couple of quick shots with the coloured lights that were in place for the October light show taking place later that evening. And , of course, you guys know that I do love a “moody” sky to work with and we certainly had one of those allowing me to get some shots in amongst all the unique plants and trees (you can tell I’m not horticultural minded can’t you :-)).
