Wedding Photography at Culcreuch Castle:
Josie & Kenny

You know, it’ a measure of just how far behind I am with blogging, that I still have 23 weddings from this year that I need to publish after this one. Still, at least with the main wedding season now pretty much over for this year, the old blog may indeed receive some attention :-).

Wedding Photography in Stirlingshire:
Kara & Graeme at Culcreuch Castle

So folks, here we go with yet more wedding photography for you – this time, I’m pleased to share with you some images from Kara & Graeme’s big day at Culcreuch Castle in the heart of Stirlingshire; Fintry to be precise. The wedding took place back in August and, as I look out the window just now at the pouring rain, it’s a reminder that we’re now pretty much well & truly out of the main wedding season and all that glorious weather that we had during the summer is but a distant memory :-(.

This was the first time I’d ever shot a wedding at Culcreuch Castle and, let me tell you, what a glorious setting it is, set in beautiful surroundings with a lake and mountainous backdrop – gorgeous. And, to cap it all, we have perfect weather for photography – a few drops of rain threaten in short bursts but, for the large part, it’s spot on! And, as the icing on the cake, everything is taking place at the one venue today so no stresses running here there and everywhere and plenty of time for photography.

Thank you so much for photographing our wedding, Mike. We are so pleased with the photos that we have as our reminder of our perfect day. The New York themed table names were used after New York became an extra special place for us after Graeme proposed there 2 years ago. We wanted to make sure that there was a New York reminder there somewhere. I’m glad you got photos of the pick n mix table as the only view that i got of it was after it had been ransacked and there was one jelly bean left!ReplyCancel
