It’s been a while since I posted up a new album design for you guys, so putting that right today and delighted to be featuring Jane & Nicky’s album from their wedding at Forrester Park last year.

In my last post I alluded to what a mixed bag the weather in April can be. Well, let me tell you guys, back on the 12th April it was, to coin a well used local phrase…”baltic”!!! I kid you not. Still, as we had previously shot Jane & Nicky’s pre-wedding shoot in the freezing snow, I guess we should have been well prepared.
I’d shot a couple of weddings previously at Forrester Park and it’s a fabulous venue, with, weather permitting, even the option to hop on a golf buggy to get some shots around the course, but, I did say “weather permitting” so this time around we were firmly encamped in and around the main building…and rightly so!
But hey guys, as I’ve said many many times before, bad weather never spoilt a great party…and that’s exactly what we had :-). I mean, just look at the pictures below! Loved all the nice little touches on the day too – Jane wore her mum’s wedding dress and the theme of the day was one very much after my own heart…music…with everyone having their own vinyl record as a nameplate – vinyl…remember that! Still, of course, the best way to listen to music :-).

Another day and another fabulous wedding to blog – going back to September last year for this one guys for which was to be the first of another “double header” wedding weekend…my third on the spin!
Rachel & John’s big day took place in glorious weather conditions…barely a cloud in the sky all day and warm enough for me to end up with another slightly burnt head…I really must remember to whack on more sun cream before I head out the door!
After a brief stop for some bridal prep shots, it was off to St. Francis Xavier’s Church here in Falkirk for the ceremony and then up the road to the Forrester Park resort for the reception. This was only my second visit to Forrester Park and the last time I’d been there it rained pretty much all day, so it was great to get out and about this time on the golf buggys for the bride & groom photo-shoot :-). A glorious sunset capped off the day nicely and enabled us to get outside and do a short after dinner shoot with the guys…happy days!
