First of a double header this weekend and kicking off over in Johnstone at the Lynnhurst Hotel for Gillian & Paul’s big day. This is about the fourth time I’ve shot at the Lynnhurst which is slightly odd as it’s a fair old distance from where I’m based. I guess the thing is, once you’ve shot a wedding at a certain venue, other couples then see the post on my blog and, if they like what they see, go ahead and arrange to meet and hopefully book – all hail to the power of the web I guess!
OK, so back on pre-wedding shoot duty today folks with Gillian & Paul in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. Only time I’ve bee here before is when I cam to see Coldplay back in, let me see, 2005 I think. Of course, coming here to see a band with thousands and thousands of people doesn’t mean that I’m familiar with the lay of the land; far from it, I barely recognise it from when I was here before – no stage, no beer tent and, well, no Coldplay, not unless they’re skulking around in the grounds somewhere – unlikely I would say!
