More from last year today guys and we’ve reached the last month of the year, three weddings left to shoot with the first of these being part 1 of another weekend “double header”, when I was at the fabulous Gleddoch House for Cheryl & Alan’s big day.

Hi people, back again with another fabuous wedding to share with you on this fine day … yep, another sunny one! I can’t remember too many summer wedding seasons where we’ve had such glorious weather – think I can count on one finger the amount of rain affected weddings that I’ve shot since we got back to work a few months ago, and long may it continue.
For “double wedding weekend” part 2, I was back again at the fabulous Gleddoch House Hotel for Ashley & Fraser’s big day. The guys were unlucky enough to have the plug pulled just the night before their original date when the pandemic first hit back in March last year, so it was great to finally get to shoot their day.
Now, I wouldn’t say that January weddings are rare…not at all, in fact, there’s barely a January that goes by that I don’t shoot a wedding or two. But, generally speaking, it is one of the quieter months so, to get two January weddings on two consecutive days…well, that’s definitely a first for me in the ten years that I’ve been doing this wedding photography thing!
Oh yes guys, I have another cracker of a wedding today for you and, continuing with my weddings from October last year (which was a very busy month for me, as most of them are if truth be told), I’m delighted to be sharing Laura & Colin’s big day at Gleddoch House :-).
This was my first ever visit to Gleddoch, if you don’t count the recce that I did beforehand but, as sure as night follows day, it wasn’t to be my last and I now have another three weddings lined up there this very year (2019 in case you’re reading this at some point well into the future LOL).
October weddings can be a bit of mixed bag weather wise and, if memory serves me well, we did indeed get a bit of everything but boy was it a touch breezy – just look at that shot below of Laura’s veil taking off! But, you know what I love about weddings at this time of year (and Spring as well), is that you can get out after dinner for a few shots in the dark…always some of my favourite…playing with light and shadows and all that! Boy am I lucky to be doing this job :-).
