So hello 2023!!! What, I hear you ask, it’s the end of April just now! True yes, but weddings are slow to kick off just after the New Year. You can hear the proverbial tumbleweed blowing throughout January most years, and February doesn’t fare much better – that said, I did shoot a wedding in February, but the couple preferred not to have it blogged (always your choice guys), so Kara & Mark’s big day mid March effectively became my first “bloggable” wedding of the year, and which I present to you today good people :-).

So guys, a few weeks back I was out yet again for the fourth time since restrictions eased a wee bit. This time, I was down at the fabulous Western House Hotel in Ayr, my first visit there in many many years, for Kara & mark’s “micro wedding” – now there’s a phrase we’re starting to get used to these days!
