It’s always quite exciting shooting at a new venue and these days, having been around for a few years now, that opportunity doesn’t come along too often. But wedding no.31 of the year gave me such an opportunity, and off to The Bay Hotel in Kinghorn I headed for Jacqueline & Bryan’s big day. And, for the first time in a while, we’re blessed with some gorgeous August sunshine…totally glorious for a locaation overlooking the beaches along the Forth.
As with a few couples this year, I’d not met Jacqueline & Bryan prior to the wedding but, as I’ve said before, that, to me, never causes an issue, and I quickly got to know everyone during the bridal prep and the shots with the guys prior to the ceremony.
My preferred shooting style is one of a documentary nature, with a sprinkling of family group shots and a short bride & groom session, so you’re free to get on and enjoy your day to the max without feeling you’ve been in a photoshoot all day…I just look for the “moments”, and there were certainly plenty of them at this wedding…just take a look below.
