Have some more pre-wedding shoot portrait photography for you today guys, this time in the shape of Katie & Ross’s pre-wedding shoot that we did over in Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond a couple of weeks ago. I love this spot for shoots – in fact, I’m sure I’ve said it before about any shoots close to water; there just seems to be something that little bit extra romantic (if that’s the right word to use) about these kind of locations. Luss is a very popular spot for tourists and, even on a bit of a drizzly old day such as this one, there’s still plenty of people around to try and avoid getting in the shots although it’s amazing how many stand back and let me do my thing when they see the size of the camera and lens I’m using :-).
Katie & Ross came with a few of their own ideas for the shoot which, for me, is always a good thing. Sure, I’ll have ideas of my own for different shots, but it’s always good to throw in a few new things that perhaps I haven’t tried before and, of course, a pre-wedding shoot is the perfect time to do that – who knows, we may even incorporate some into the wedding day images.
