Onwards with blogging the remainder of last years weddings and, mid November, I found myself back at Glenskirlie Castle where, along with venues such as The Vu and Glenbervie House, I’ve probably shot at more than anywhere and, with it being only 10 mins drive away, home in plenty of time for Match of the Day :-).
I’d already met Nikki and Paul a couple of times before the day, initially when they came to my home studio to chat (and subsequently book) and also on their pre-wedding shoot in Loch Lomond in the summer, so I knew the wedding day was going to be fabulous, and so it was :-).
I’m a bit partial to weddings in autumn as, given that the light fades early, it gives you the chance to get a great mix of daylight shots before dinner, and then a few more “dramatic” shots after dark…and those of you that follow my blog will know I do love a dramatic night shot! My middle name should be “flashgun!” – there, I’ve started something now…
