Was just thinking late last night, as you do, that I’ve totally been neglecting putting some new albums designs up on the blog – October was the last one; I accept 100 lines as punishment and five minutes standing in the corner as well. So guys, expect a rush of albums designs over the next week or so, as they’ve been flying off the press of late.
Sarah & Robbie got married last Summer at The George Hotel in Edinburgh and I remember that weekend very well, as it was the third wedding of my triple header weekend; yep, that’s right, wedding on Friday, Saturday and Sunday – boy, did I feel that I deserved a beer or two when I got home that night! Was a great day though with a really relaxed feel to it and one which I hugely enjoyed photographing.
The guys chose a 30 page 12″ x 12″ album from my supplier, Graphistudio in Italy, and went for the silk cover, beautifully made as usual. I love Graphistudio – they really do produce what I consider are some of the finest albums of their type in the world. And, I hear that they’ve just produced a new range of matted albums which they’re unveiling to the world at the moment, and I’ll get a chance to see for myself at a trade fair at the end of this month – very exciting. I love handing over the albums – for me, it’s pretty much the last link in the chain, the place where all the images from the day that have been selected for the album come together. It just looks right in an album – each page telling the story of a different part of the day, from the details and bridal prep through to the dancing shots on the last page. Anyway, here’s me rambling – please take a look for yourself below and see what you think.
