“The Parsonage” Wedding : Sarah & Frank

August was certainly a busy month for me, as you would expect I guess, and slap bang in the middle I was lucky enough to be heading up to The Parsonage once again, this time for Sarah & Frank’s big day. And, possibly, my last ever wedding at the venue, as I had heard that it had been put up for sale as a private property. That being the case, it was certainly a great way to go out …

“The Parsonage” Wedding : Emma & Gordon

So guys, only 4 days after my last wedding at The Parsonage, I was back there again for the first of yet another “triple header” wedding weekend for the second week running … yep, it sure was a busy period. This time around, I was very honoured to be shooting Emma & Gordon’s wedding on a goregously warm August day :-).

“The Parsonage” Wedding : Laura & Adam

So here’s the thing guys, just before I set about starting this blog post, I was bowled over to receive the news that I’ve made into the WPJA’s Top 150 Wedding Photographers for 2019, no. 114 to be precise. This is especially pleasing as I only joined the WPJA in October, so my ranking is solely based on the last 3 months of the year … onwards and upwards for next year then :-).

“The Parsonage” Wedding : Elena & Lovemore

So back in June, one week on from my 700 mile round trip to Northampton, I was, shall we say, slightly closer to home, about 3 miles up the road at The Parsonage, for Elena & Lovemore’s big day :-).

The Parsonage Wedding : Jen & Kevin

          {“align”:”justify”} –>

You would think that, shooting a wedding a few days before Christmas, then that would be it for me for the year but no, Jen & Kevin’s big day at The Parsonage was to be only the first of four weddings that I was to shoot before the year was out – no longer is this a quiet time of year on the wedding front!

By a strange coincidence, I’ve only just finished shooting another wedding at The Parsonage and it remains one of my favourite venues…and it’s local…always a bonus :-). You know, I always say that you can get a good vibe from the bridal prep shots as to how the day’s going to pan out, and this very day was no exception…a total blast to shoot from start to finish with a fabulous crowd! And all capped off with a fireworks display just before I left for the night – heck, we even managed to dodge the rain somehow too!!!
