June was certainly a busy month for me and it all kicked off with a visit back to the fabulous Forrester Park to shoot Demi & Charlie’s big day! It’d been quite a while since I was last at the venue and very much followed the trend this year where I seem to re-visiting venues that I haven’t been at for years … and amen to that I say!
Let’s be honest, the forecast for the day had looked pretty attrocious and, early on, the heavy persistent rain certainly lived up to its billing … just check out some of those guests arriving shots below! I was pretty much resigned to shooting indoors all day. But, by some minor miracle would you know, post ceremony, it had all cleared up and more or less stayed that way for the remainder of the day – guess those forecast guys can get it wrong sometimes!
So, with the weather playing ball, we were able to get outside after all for a handful of group shots and a couple of super quick couple shoots, one before and one after dinner. The rest of the day, and by that I mean the majority of the day, was shot in my usual candid documentary style, capturing all those fabulous moments … and there were certainly plenty of those let me tell you!

Looking for Forrester Park Wedding Photography … or anywhere for that matter?
If you’re getting married (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast! For the past three years, I’ve been recognised by the WPJA as Scotland’s top ranked wedding photojournalist, so you know you’re in safe hands :-).
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2026 & 2027 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times. So do get in touch asap guys to check my availability.
