For my third wedding of the year, I was back for the first time in quite a few years at the fabulous Orocco Pier, and what an amazing day it was too shooting Laura & Connor’s wedding in front of the iconic Forth bridges in wall to wall sunshine no less … such a nice wee bonus amongst all the rain we’d had around the time!
As you may be aware, over the last 5 or 6 years, I’ve moved further and further away from the tradtional posed style of wedding photography, preferring a more candid, documentary, natural approach, allowing the day to flow more without constant interuption. So, a handful of group shots and one quick couple shoot before dinner aside, I was left to just do my usual thing and simply capture all the goings on in my “ninja” style … and there were certainly plenty of memorable moments to capture that’s for sure!
As usual though, rather than bore you with my waffle, I’ll let the pictures tell the story of the day. Just before that though, here’s some incredibly kind words that I recently received from the guys:

If you’re getting married (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
