First post of the week guys and I’m going slightly out of order to feature Pauline & Ali’s pre-wedding shoot last weekend. Yes, I know I still have four weddings from over the Xmas period still to blog first but, Pauline & Ali’s wedding day is this coming weekend so it seemed only right to get some pre shoot images out there before the big day!
So, Linlithgow was the chosen venue after, I understand, some debate :-). Pauline’s choice would have been South Queensferry…another fantastic location by the way. But, in all honesty, with the rain totally pouring down on the day of the shoot, Linlithgow turned out the be the “slightly” better option, at least affording some cover where South Queensferry would not have.
I know this sounds like a cliche, but I never tire of shooting weddings and pre-wedding shoots, regardless of the conditions. Even in the rain, you’ll often find me lying on the ground to get the shot I’m after…it just doesn’t bother me! And Linlithgow offers plenty of locations for some great shots, some obvious like the castle, the entrance archway or the jetty…and some less so like an old shed – every shoot is going to be different depending on the conditions and, of course, the all important lighting.
Pauline & Ali – a big thank you for going along with absolutely everything on the day despite some awful conditions. I very much look forward to shooting your wedding this weekend and, meantime, here’s some of my favourite images from the pre-wedding shoot which I hope you like.

I love these photos of my.awesome Son and his precious wife to be. Not easy to view them through my hazy tearful eyes though, happiness is infectious and emotional.
