April was a busy month for me, with five weddings, two pre-wedding shoots, album collections and whole host of meetings with new couples looking to book :-). And, after two weekends on the bounce shooting two weddings on both Friday and Saturday, it was nice to end the month with just the one on the weekend.
Kaitlin & Raymond’s big day took place at the Braid Hills Hotel in Edinburgh, which was to be only my second visit there. Up until the day itself, I hadn’t actually met either of the guys but, as I always say, to me that’s not really an issue. We’re all busy people these days and making the time to meet up beforehand can sometimes prove tricky. But, I like to think I’m quite a sociable chap (space for comments below guys if you don’t agree LOL) and can get on with pretty much anyone under any circumstances :-).
Despite the often darkening skies, the rain did hold off for the day allowing us to get outside for the formal group shots and then, after dinner, a short bride & groom shoot, blessed with some of those moody dark skies that you all know I love :-).
