Following on from a rare weekend without a wedding the previous week, my next foray into the wonderful world of wedding photography took me north on my first ever visit to the fabulous Dunkeld House Hotel. In fact, this was to be the first of four visits to this part of the world in as many weeks…who says I don’t get around 🙂
It’s not in my nature to pre-judge how I think a wedding day is going to pan out but, having met with Amy & Nick back in February to chat about their big day, I knew it was going to be a good one…and that’s exactly how it went down…pardon my “street speak”! Even the rain we experienced in the early part of the day didn’t spoil things – a quick bit of juggling around by the team at Dunkeld brought forward the timings of the wedding breakfast, allowing us plenty of time after dinner for our bride & groom shoot (and more) in, by this time of the day, some glorious sunshine :-).
Honestly, some of the shots we took on the day are already some of my favourite shots ever and will no doubt be finding their way into my portfolio very soon.
