Did I mention recently how many albums are coming and going from the studio just now…just once or twice I think :-). Must be a post Christmas thing where couples sit down and finalize their album selections and designs…and, the latest to leave “chez Mike” was from a wedding I shot back in 2013 – Sarah & Martin’s to be exact at the very fabulous Lochside House Hotel where, and having been there a few times now I can vouch for this, the food is totally wonderful…boy do I look forward to my break when I’m working there!
So yes, a 2013 wedding but hey, that’s no issue as there’s absolutely no time limit on how long it takes to finalise the album design and I do understand that the stresses and strains of everyday life do sometimes mean that things like picking pictures for your wedding album do take a back seat…I still have an album pending from a 2012 wedding would you believe!
For their album, Sarah & Martin opted for Graphistudio’s Original Wedding Book with the hugely popular “crystal glance” cover with a black leather back & spine, all completed with a complimentary black leather sleeve to store it in…although “store” doesn’t feel like the right word to use – conjures up images of a box, where the “stylish sleeve” is much more than just a box.
You can probably tell guys that I’m a big big fan of wedding albums and I absolutely love to see your wedding pictures displayed in this way :-). Of course, I’m biased, but I do believe that I’m partnered with the best album company in the world, Graphistudio from Italy, used by the majority of top professional wedding photographers worldwide. Check these out…there’s so many ways in which the album can be customised in terms of covers, back & spines, boxes, colours etc, that apparently there are about 4 million different combinations in total!
Graphistudio also have a policy of “vetting” photographers that they wish to be partnered with, so you can be assured that you’re getting an album that just isn’t available to a large majority…how unique is that!
Anyway, here’s a few images of the actual album, along with the proof design for all of the pages.
Please leave a comment…I love to know what you think
Family & friends (plus anyone else who might stop by), it would be fantastic if you could leave a comment at the bottom of the post (using either of the comment box options) as I love to hear what you think :-). Also, if you really like this album design, why not give me a “Like” on my Facebook page to keep in touch with what I’m up to – would be great to have you on board!
Mike
