Well I guess if you haven’t noticed it then this must be your first visit to this old blog of mine. But, if you’ve been here before, you’ve no doubt noticed that we’ve had a bit of a revamp colour wise. Out has gone the old red & grey look and in comes various shades of blue.
So, why the change? Well, I read recently that red is not a good colour for sites. Red, given that it’s associated with danger, apparently is an offputting colour, and to be avoided. Grey is, well…just grey. So why bring in blue? Well I guess I could post a few scientific reasons about blue being a colour that draws you in and makes you want to read on, but I’d be lying if I did. No, no other reason than I like it and, of course, I hope you do to – I think it’s a bit more easy on the eye than my old colours. Anyway, your views are, as always, very much appreciated and you can leave any comments at the foot of this post.
Now off to change all my other branding!!!
