So folks, feels like a while since I’ve had any pre-wedding shoot images to show you, probably nearly two months ago in fact, but hey, we’re just coming out of the busy wedding season now so I do have an excuse (of sorts). Anyway, time to put that right and today I’m really pleased to feature the shoot that I did with Cheryl & Euan last month down in South Queensferry, Edinburgh. South Queensferry is one of my fave places and I’ve probably done more shoots here than pretty much anywhere else and it’s easy to see why, with the iconic bridges, cobbled streets and old world charm – parking’s a nightmare though :-).
I’m often asked by couples if the pre-wedding shoot will help them come the wedding day and my answer is always the same…absolutely “yes”. For starters, most couples will not have been photographed before to the extent that they will be on the wedding day – the pre-wedding shoot gets you used to being in front of the camera and working with me. You can also try out a few different things on the shoot that would not be possible on the wedding day as that’s certainly not the time to experiment. Finally, you’ll get to see a range of images in an online gallery from which you can then let me know those that you like and those that you’re not so keen on, and that’ll be a big plus come the wedding day. And, let’s not forget the signing frame that I’ll bring along with me on the day itself for all your guests to leave their own personal messages.
Cheryl & Euan, a big thank you for going along with all my ideas on this shoot (even squeezing into a phone box). I very much look forward to shooting your wedding come December and, meantime, hope you like these few images that I’ve selected for this post.
win a portrait shoot
If you like these images, please do to leave a comment or two at the bottom of the post as it’s always very much appreciated. Plus, what would be really fantastic, is a “Like” on my Facebook page as it’s always great to get new people on board. And, for all those that “Like” my page, you’ll be entered into a monthly draw to win a free portrait session plus a 12″ x 8″ framed print (worth £95):-), so good luck.
