Second pre-wedding shoot of the day today and I’ve driven the short distance from Loch Lomond into Glasgow, the University of Glasgow to be precise, here to meet up with Laura & Ian. The guys are actually getting married here next month and then moving on to Oran Mor for their reception, so we thought it would be a great opportunity not only to do the pre-wedding shoot, but also talk about the schedule and photography requirements for their wedding day as well.
The University is a fantastic venue for photography. No wedding images here would be complete without making use of the stunning cloisters, and I don’t think the pre-wedding images look too bad either :-). You really are spoilt for choice here with the locations that could be used – in fact, all the images we took below were all taken within a short distance of each other in and around the main quadrangle, but I’m absolutely certain there’s a ton more to be discovered in the other areas of the campus as well. And then of course there’s the views across the way to the Kelvingrove Art Museum…beautiful!
Anyway, I could go on…but I won’t (thank goodness I hear you say). Here’s a selection of my fave images from the shoot. The full set can be found in the online gallery (password required). If you like these, please do leave a comment at the foot of the post, as it’s great to know what you all think.
