So last Sunday I found myself heading south; no, not that far south as in London or the like, but south as into the Borders – Cornhill House near Biggar to be exact, and this was my first trip here. The reason? To shoot Audrey & Fraser’s pre-wedding shoot and to have a bit of a catch up about their wedding that I’m shooting at the very same place come the summer, thus killing two birds with one stone as they say.
The thing that struck me on my trip down was the amount of snow still kicking around. Sure, we had some here in Larbert last week, but it’s long since disappeared, but not in the Borders it would seem, as the backdrop got visibly whiter the further I ventured – still, all makes for some good images as I think I’m pretty safe in saying we won’t have any of that come July.
Boy was it cold – even I felt it and I’m kind of used to it these days!
Audrey & Fraser, a big thank you for braving the cold and for going along with everything on the shoot, and I look forward to your wedding come July. Meantime, here’s just a few of my favourite images which I hope you like (just click on any of the thumbnails to start the viewer).

Please all feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the post as I love to hear what you think :-). Even better, if you really like these, why not give me a “Like” on my Facebook page to keep in touch with what I’m up to – would be great to have you on board!
