A quick hop over from Hamilton, stop off at home for a spot of lunch, and I’m back out and about for the second of today’s pre-wedding shoots – this time, I’m in the University of Stirling grounds with Lisa & Neil. The guys are getting married in September at Solsgirth House, a fantastic venue, totally private (you have the run of the place for the whole day) and, needless to say, I’m really looking forward to capturing some great images for them come the day.
I’ve shot here in the University grounds quite a few times now, both on pre-wedding shoots and also weddings, and it’s one of my favourites, due to the endless photo opportunities that it offers. Of course, being an outdoor venue, it does rely heavily on having some decent weather and, call me lucky or what, but every time I’ve been here we’ve had glorious sunshine – love it, especially the shots with the lake in the background which really sparkles in the sun.
